All in on preflop

When folks insist on going all in over and over, I just leave the table and pretty soon, he is sitting by himself

I usually just fold and let someone else take him out of the game

Exactly, because nobody wants to play with people like that. It seems to happen a lot in Ring games for sure.

If you’re patient, you’ll get a monster and then you take all of his chips. Since it’s free chips, players like that aren’t worried about losing, costs them nothing. Maybe if Replay had an algorithm that penalized players like that by not giving them their 2500 free chips, they’d think twice. In a real game, it is very rare for someone to go all in like that.

Now there’s a thought worth exploring.

Yes. It’s the best plan, Keo3. Welcome to the Forums. Come often and good luck at the tables.

Loose cannons are great for 2 things:

#1 - save you a lot of chips. When you have a loose cannon who goes all in or makes huge preflop raises, you’ll play less hands, saving you chips.

#2 - make you a lot of chips. When you get a solid starting hand, calling the huge raise or all-in can help you double up. If you start with a high pair, and they are raising or going all in with anything, like with low off suit cards, you will win a majority of the time. You will lose a few, but will win more in the long run.

I love having loose cannons at the table! Some people just love to gamble and I respect that.

I usually wait him out for a very good hand and then take all his chips.

I do the same…or leave. I found I lot of these players start off playing fine but all of a sudden it seems like they’re either off their meds or took something, as they suddenly start going all in every preflop. That’s when I leave. It’s a shame as many a good game breaks up at that point. I still wish RP would off “Bingo” tables!

Last sentence should have said “offer” not “off”.

IMO thos who come in and want to play allin on the flops uually generated prob from young kids and Poker players that want to think they can outsmart us players that play and think they know how to read cards. gets me that a lot of Players come across esp International players can stay up past 12 mid and play and win lol…Im in bed by 11…USA

If Im at a tqble and someone goes all in and I have good cards in hand why not challenge…that is if itz before my bedtime LOL

YabadabbaDoo!

Yup but whatz better to sit and wait or go check check!! I hear ya, but sdometimes itz better to go all in esp with them new players or kids

I agree on all in nonscience so frustrating there should be at least a min time you can do that in a game.

All in preflop has its place in poker but all in everytime is a pain in the arse. Maybe a solution or part of a solution is free 2500 once a dau only.
Patience is key with all inners all the time,if you don’t have patience leave the table or sitout until they bustout lol

Like most of you I will wait for great hole cards; call and watch my AA get beat by 9/7 off. Usually the person who goes " all in " seems to win most hands. Especially if they are short on chips or have a poor ranking. Therefore, I usually just leave that group and look for another one or go play chess. :face_with_spiral_eyes: :exploding_head:

Not so! I have played in Casino Tournaments where thet go all in every hand. Eventually they lose all but it is frustrating for the rest of us til that happens.
