pocket aces got aprox 12% win rate preflop. This is playmoney, free chips, users call more often then real money game. Thets why. More call-s, less chance with pocket AA.

I think RP want it to make the game more realistic, so, if you got any idea to elp thet, please share it.

What players fail to take into account at RP is the number of hands played per hour will be considerably more than at a real table. Cards at a real table must be gathered and shuffled even with a two deck system mistakes are made and must be sorted out (dropped cards and shown cards). Oh, don’t forget the arguments about whether cards were mucked or not, was that a chain bet or not, did the chips stated match what was presented, and don’t forget the argument about a check raise. All these slow a regular game down. RP just continues on regardless. I would estimate at least 3 times more hands per hour. I content because of this increased number of hands played a false perception of a flawed system is perceived.

yes indeed i TOTALY AGREE with trav

I found this relevant article on the PaddyPower website, it’s worth reproducing here:

Why do I sometimes see very strange events or strings of bad luck at the table?

There are numerous reasons why the deal will sometimes not appear to be random:

Firstly, playing online you will be dealt far more hands than in a casino – (approximately 55 – 75 hands per hour online vs. 25 in a casino).

Secondly, a few hundred hands or even a couple of thousand, do NOT represent a meaningful sampling of hands, at least 30–40 thousand hands are required to begin to form a meaningful sample.

Also, we tend to NOTICE strange events far more than normal events, for instance, when we lose two tough hands in a short period with KK or AA, we feel that this is very improbable. However, we tend not to notice when our 67 beats KK and our 44 beats AA – In other words we attribute greater significance to events that are against us and tend not to notice when we are the beneficiaries of the same luck in our favor.

Players online tend to play far more hands, which means often there are more players seeing the flop and players stay in hands online longer, this all results in many more bad beats for the favored hand – because there are more players drawing against the best hand.

A concrete example of the above is … In Holdem, AA against a random hand might be a 65 % favorite, against 2 hands, a 60 % favorite against 3 hands about 50 % and so on. The more hands drawing against you and the longer they stay in the hand, the more likely the best hand will lose.

many txs for ur answer paul i would like to see that please

I would like to see players like yourself and Trav90210, learn how to play a little more, and WHINE a little less. Everyone gets bad beats, out flopped, even pushed in/out, not you guys. You think AK should win all the time but what you fail to realize is there are 7 cards in the other guys hand to make one…Stop being sissy and learn how to play, all in is not the way…P.S. I give free lessons…

masner you need to listen to what you preach above you said all in is not the way to go but i saw your hand in tourney went all in on AA and lost

  1. i dont play much tournaments like some ppl do

  2. i dont care about the toplists like some ppl do

  3. as far predicting cards mean like if flop ace high straight. 2 suited cards on table turn or river will be the other suited card and person hits the flush. i dont know how many times i said river be diamond or whatever give someone flush. sure enough river diamond or whatever they need complete flush
